Call of Duty CP Points Black Ops 5 won't be happening in 2020. Instead the game will be called COD: Vietnam and takes heavy inspiration from Sledgehammer's scrapped Vietnam-era shooter.
This comes from Jason Schreier formerly of Kotaku who is one of the most reliable sources when it comes to insider video game industry knowledge. While interacting with people on Twitter Schreier stated that he's heard the title Call of Duty: Vietnam "thrown around a couple of times," and that as far as he knows the game will still technically be part of the Black Ops series. However Schreier made it a point to clarify that he is not completely sure about this and that since he is "not a COD person," he doesn't know "what it really means to be a Black Ops game."
This isn't a surprise. Rumors have been circulating on a campaign that spans the entire Cold War era including both the Vietnam and Korean Wars. It's now uncertain if the Korean War era will be included. The game is said to include titular Black Ops characters like Frank Wood and is drawing heavily on Sledgehammer's once-cancelled Vietnam project. Treyarch will be in principal development but Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software will cheap Call of Duty CP Pointsjump in to assist.
Assuming Call of Duty: Vietnam is truly the 2020 Call of Duty game one has to imagine that it will take a "boots on the ground" approach that's been missing from Treyarch's CoD games since Black Ops 2. Both Black Ops 3 and Black Ops 4 use science-fiction technology and feature advanced movement features but a Call of Duty game set in Vietnam would presumably take a much more realistic approach.
